Modi Mano

Modi developed his career in top tier global shipping institutions spanning across London, Singapore, Rotterdam. In 2007 Modi co-founded (Partner, BOD and CIFO) Navig8 Group, a leader in tanker trading, operations and management. Prior to that, Modi worked in private equity shipping investments and ship finance. In his early career Modi worked for Seagull Maritime Ltd in ship operations and chartering. Modi holds a Master degree in Shipping, Trade and Finance and a BA in Business Administration.

Nienke Blans

Nienke Blans

Nienke has been working in the shipping and energy finance industry for over 20 years. She has a vast international network, having worked for ABN AMRO Bank in London, Singapore and Amsterdam. Before arriving to MSEA, Nienke was active as CFRO for a Dutch maritime fund manager, Nesec Fund Management, based in Rotterdam, with main focus on European short sea shipping.
Nienke holds a master degree in Maritime Engineering from the Technical University of Delft.

Capt. Debashish Bhattacharya

Capt. Debashish Bhattacharya

Capt. Debashish started his seagoing career in 1977. By 1987 he commanded Tankers and LPG Carriers. In 1994, he came ashore and by 2002 became Head of Fleet Operations, ISM and Vetting at Great Eastern. He later joined FR8 Logistics (London) as Operations Director and in 2007 established Navig8 Shipmanagement Ltd as co-founder of Navig8 Group.
Capt. Debashish also has extensive experience in shipbuilding and conversion projects. In 2013 he joined MSEA’s team as Technical Director. Capt. Debashish also runs an independent consultancy under which he advises commercial and government bodies.

Capt. Manish Gupta

Capt. Manish Gupta

Capt. Manish started his seagoing career in 1991 as a Cadet with Chevron Shipping. He sailed on and commanded VLCC’s, Suezmaxes, OBO’s and Product Tankers for esteemed companies like Chevron, V-Ships, Frontline etc. In 2010, Capt. Manish joined Navig8 Ship Management as Marine, Risk, Safety & Vetting Superintendent and became head of safety department as HSEQ Manager together with roles of DPA and CSO and handling all aspects of technical ship management, until joining MSEA in 2019.

Eleni Petridou

Finance Manager

Eleni Petridou

Eleni has over 15 Years of experience in Accounting – 3 years as an accounts assistant in Orbit Direct Cyprus, thereafter 7 years as accountant in Kotani Ship Management Ltd, part of Kotani Group (a ship-owning company), followed by 3 years as Chief Accountant at Kotani Shipping Co. Eleni continued as a senior accountant at Andreas Neocleous & Co LLC, Cyprus’s largest law firm, for 3 years until joining MSEA in 2015.
